Dude, it looks like you're plotting hyperspace jumps! those are gonna come out very cool. What grit are you using on those nifty belt sanders?

Primary 12 per side(Might go to 10) , Rolled edge 17 per side, Main face 8 per side. Needs a final polish and hone the edges.
Can I rename post. Misspelled Grind:grumpy:

Very cool, man! Keep us posted on how it comes along. And tell us more about your little jig and grinding arrangement! Very interesting, as well as that edge guide plate thingy.

Oh, man, this is awesome!!!!! Can't wait to see more!

I'll be looking for one of those heads.

Love all the axe stuff but that picture of your pup is priceless.

Would love to get my hands on one of those forest service sharpening guides.

How did you mash your thumb? Can you believe I have no Idea.Maybe Shoeing?Hammer?

Would love to get my hands on one of those forest service sharpening guides. Not sure if GSA still has them(Will check),I have had that one for years.

I found them in the GSA catalog. Just not sure how to get ahold of them???!! Minimum order of 10 it looks like.

I found the gauge. Did a Google search for it. It was $30+ ea. No returns or exchanges. I'm thinking NOT!

The handtool sharpening gauge is available from the General Services Administration, item number: NSN 5210-01-324-2776, NFES 0510.
