• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

it all started after I made a mistake while sharpening, and this is how it ended up. the knife is a benchmade 15020 bone collector.

I used sandpaper, the kind you use with water, up to 1200 grit. 1200 is the highest I can find. the I used some old polishing paste and a dremmel with a small buffing wheel I think. I'm pretty satisfied with it. one side is a little better than the other. I haven't bothered putting a new edge on it yet, it's quite sharp.

what do you think?

Nice job.
You can find higher grit sandpaper at stores like AutoZone, etc. My local store has 1500, 2000 and 3000 grit wet/dry sandpaper.

Went into my local Carquest and asked if they had any higher grit than 1500 and they looked at me funny. In their defense it was a smaller sized store. So, I'd stick to the bigger auto stores if your looking for sandpaper.
