Yes its still a punch knife but will work as a utility or box cutter as well for those of you that live in knife sensitive areas. Made from 3/16ths 1095 to a Rockwell of 60. Approximately 3.5 inches by 2.75 inches, very sharp. This one will have Bocote scales on it when its finished (probably tonight or tomorrow). I will post the final pictures when its done. Or you can just take my word for it now. Shipped to the lower 48 with a Kydex belt sheath $70.00. Comments are always welcome, Ken.

In Los Angeles it's illegal to carry any concealed weapon. If its not hidden and its a tool for work not for self defense it should be fine.

Punchullu type 2 can also be used as a utility tool (box cutter) Should get around the issues in those "sensitive" knife places. made from 3/16 1095 to Rockwell hardness of 60. Bocote scales with 3 1/8 inch brass pins. Very sharp but no point and it only has one edge. Hmmmmmmm. Handle height is 3 3/8 inches 2 inches from the "tip" to the leading edge of the scales. Very comfortable in the hand. Shipped to the lower 48 $70.00 Comes with a custom made black Kydex belt sheath. Comments are welcome. Ask questions. Ken

Thanks for looking

When I went back to look at NYS Article 265.00 and 265.01, it doesn't define or mention "punch dagger" at all. In which case it's all about intent.

Or push dagger, or push knife, etc..

Thanks Nimick,

Others in knife sensitive areas please chime in. There seems to be a fair amount of confusion over the legality of punch/push knives.
