If you hold the knife at a right light, theres a machine "Scuff" over the number. (I call it scuff, because if you run your finger nail across it, you cant feel anything) from what I gather it came from Busse that way. Plussit looks like Number was stamped over it.

The pics were taking today, so the knife is pretty flawless without any sheath marks or anything.
