.225 inches thick-satin, with a sabre grind, mmmmmmm sweet
Satin with black canvas, 1/4" thick with full-height grind might tempt me.![]()
How will it spec out against an ash1?
If I remember right the ASH-1 is 6.5" long and .320" thick and the prototype ASH-2 is 9" long and .220" thick.
I'm looking forward to the Ash-2 coming out soon!!!
It looks thicker than .220" in the photo... Although, I'd like it to be .220"!!!
.
My Blade magazine, Aug 2015, page 58 says 9" blade, 14.5" OAL, quarter inch thick, $547
Looks like a full height grind
I thought the one Jerry had at the show was a saber grind, at .220" so I guess we will see in 2 weeks![]()
Just 2 more weeks. Is two weeks up yet?
I like the idea about hand shaped handles folks are mentioning but isn't this a custom option and temporarily unavailable?
Mmm hmmm. What he said.32 satin. Please.
