Anyone know what issue of blade magazine this was in and what the cover looks like?

It looks thicker than .220" in the photo... Although, I'd like it to be .220"!!! :D

I just looked at the photo closer and it does look much thicker. The prototype at Blade this year was .220" thick, but that could change whenever they do decide to make it.

I thought the one Jerry had at the show was a saber grind, at .220" so I guess we will see in 2 weeks ;)

Satin, anykind of hand shapen micarta, and the Fatter, the better..
Atleast 1 for me, for now...
 
I like the idea about hand shaped handles folks are mentioning but isn't this a custom option and temporarily unavailable?

I think they will still do that but I'm not 100% sure. You can call the shop and ask. I had it done on my BGAD but that was before Jerrys custom shop announcement
