Ash for Hafts

Yes Frank, More so with arrow shafts I believe than bows, but yes bows were made from ash. Wouldn't be my first choice, or second.

I'm not cool enough to carry a long bow. Someday, maybe. But in the mean time, I've never bagged one with my "cam operated device" so I'm not ready to forego the technological advantages until my skills improve. Now that I've condemned my archery hunting skills, you can probably guess that I didn't call in anything. Not close enough for a shot anyway. The weather was gorgeous, though, and we had a fantastic time. No fire restrictions this year, thank the Lord.

I got over filling tags as a successful hunt a long time ago. You could still be cool though. You ever want to shoot long bow private message me.
Just Kidding you I hope you know about being cool. My favorite game these days are cotton tails. My hunting partner owns me on rabbits, but he is a big step behind me bow fishing. He shoots one of those pulley poppers also. Its all good and sounds like you had a great time.
