Ash1...from cg to custom

HOLY CRAP! That is one of the best looking ASH's I have ever seen! Great job!

So how much?

Add one more name to the people willing to pay for the same treatment of their ASH's---seriously!!!!!

great job on that mod. The saber grind contrast really brings out the belly in the knife. As other's have said, much more SNFO ish than I thought. At my old job, they had everything I would have needed to do this the same way (super tricked out machine shop, cnc machines, the whole shebang, diamond grit at any size imaginable, grit blasters from silicone carbide blasters up to fine glass bead blasters etc, liquid nitrogen supply, even quartz vacume ovens to do what ever heat treat cycles you wanted!). But sadly, I am not at that job any more. It is several states away, and my office job now has no cool toys.

Absolutely great job, but.................................

Wearing a lab coat AND pocket protector?:D

Thanks much for the very nice comments. I'll pass them on to "florijn", although I know he's lurking now and then..;)

Also it's his call to take any orders if you're serious about this. "florijn" is a registered member over here.

Very cool.

Did it make much difference in the weight ?

Because of the sabregrind the balance has changed. The knife now is more tip-heavy. I personally like that better. A normal cgAsh1 has more weight in the handle therefor you hardly notice that you've got a heavy knife in your hands. And because the balance changed I hardly notice any weightdifference.

Crafft, absolutely amazing work. Anyone would be honored to own that knife.

So do you have all those toys at home or at work?

Schwing!! Sweet!!

Always great to see an ASH with a little cosmetic help :)

Nice work - nice equipment!!
