ASH1 - Help ID'ing

That ASH 2 in the second to last picture looks familiar… how’s it treating you, Jay?

Hey Brother Damien hope, you're doing well, it is fine and dandy 😍😁

How is your DB421 I see you were thinking about trading in your gemini.

What have you like most between the Mega ratweiler and the Sykco Db-421 I picked up 2 as well cos they looked too good to pass.

Everything is good over here, just work and family. I actually haven’t used my Ratweiler yet, but it looks like an amazing chopper. I love the DB-421. I decided against getting rid of my TGULB, I knew that if I did I would regret it. I’m keeping it. The TGULB and DB are neck and neck in terms of being my favorite and most used knife. The handle on DB has a very slight Edge over the TGULB in comfort. Hope everything is well brother.

Can you tell me about your thought process is deciding between the db421 and db321? What do you see there as the main consideration or differences?

thanks for your thoughtful reply! When you said you were a "basic guy", I had to do a double take! I figured you meant that you liked the Busse Basics :)

Sometimes Busse has extra blanks from a run. They will not make more LE's with serial #'s once they pull the pre order for it, but why waste good steel? So, they use extras in different ways. Yours is an LE blank thickness ASH-1 with different handles & standard logo. Basically a knife show piece, probably for Blade Show or one of the Travelling Trough shows, or a Knob Creek show back in the day. 👍👍
