Yes, as usual, Amy mentioned to put "Attn: Amy" so that she'll get the LE all squared away! Some of the friendliest and nicest folks to deal with! Now I know wut the fuss is all about on this forum! Too bad most Kalifornians are....well...u know.

Lycosa, I will definitely give an update although I'm sure it'll look as good as new! No doubts from this end.

Moonwilson, yes, definitely my first "get cleaned for free" offer. Amy and Boss Hog himself probably go easy on a newbie! Thank goodness!

Thanks again to Jerry, Amy, and the HOG fans!

Diesel,

I've got to agree with those who think you should pound the sand out of it first. . . .DO IT!!!!. . . Then send it in and we'll make it all pretty again for you. . .

Abuse it or lose it!!!!!

You've heard the man!

But if you do decide to take out the tiny scratches, the best method by far - laugh if you will - is the nail polish file. The medium grit on those is almost perfect for removing scratches on any satin finish, including watch bracelets (I tried it on my 2K $ Omega, so I do know of which I speak). After serious abuse, Scotch-Brite does the trick.

That said - Busses are users. I have a BATAC LE and FBM LE and couldn't stand not to use them. So do yourself a favor and go split some wood with that blade. You'll feel better and you won't mind the scratches one bit!

Cheers,
Rok
