Man oh man! I scored a really nice ASH2 from Haole with sheath and everything, stellar deal, stellar knife.

I can quit my hunt for a 2nd SHSH2 for now!

This blade is amazing with its perfect stock-to-magnum ratio.

And it came with an amazing edge.

I feel like with all the offerings flying at such an incredible clip, these "regular-type" 2nd generation blades are getting overshadowed. The ASH2 is a beautiful knife and such great proportions and balance.

Cheers to the 2nd generation "old schools"!

the 2G's are phenomenal - still wish I had hung onto my 2GSHE, so glad I picked up the ASH2

Seriously, the ASH 2 is just phenomenal!

The ASH2 has a very similar blade to one of my all time camp favorites the TRASH 2. The ASH2 does feel wonderful and well balanced.
Have not given it a workout yet but I am sure it will be amazing, a real keeper.

Beautiful knives, guys! Haole put a killer edge on mine, and it is such a perfect all-arounder - the blade stock is so spot on (for me), I just cannot say enough about it!

That Razor Edge version is killer - looks like a space knife.

beautiful combo man! I have several of his sheaths for several models, and they are awesome!
 
ASH2 is my favorite knife when I'm in the woods. It does everything I need and isn't too big to be burdensome to carry. I run mine with a Mashed Cat drop leg with thigh strap.
 
I've been wanting an ASH2 for awhile but just can't get over how much I love my bunker buster! Anyone happen to have a comparison pic between the two? Or think either one would serve as a "your only knife" scenario?

Give me about a week and I'll have you a good comparison of the two. I won one of the Patriot Bunker Busters. However, I recently sold a Bunker Buster about a couple weeks ago. A beautiful black and Bruiser version. Based on the short time that I had both, I would choose the ASH 2. The ASH 2 is just balanced so very, very well imo. But, take that with a grain of salt, because I've only just held either. But, that will change in the future
