Although I've yet to have an ASH2 I do feel like it too would be the best all around but the bunker buster has grown on me more then almost any Busse yet!! I look forward to your comparison later!.

Bunker Buster is indescribably badass and it would make for a great all-around knife for sure! I have the LE version which makes it that much "thinner" than the coated version.

Again - the thinner stock is what does it for me every time! The "muk-like" swail on the BB makes for added chopping power.

I would take either - grateful to be able to own both!

As awesome as the NMSFNO is, it is a bit of a different beast with .25 or more stock, depending. It is still probably what I think about most when I think of Busse (one of the original bigger knives I owned) - that and the original SHBM's (I think maybe the best knife I have ever owned).

Damn I love Busse knives!!!

I am thrilled you are so enthusiastic about the ASH2. It is an awesome design! I love it when a knife like that finds a happy home. Cheers!
 
Made a mistake with the ASH2 in the pics I posted today. Realized I didn't have her all the way in the sheath! Sorry about that :oops:
At any rate, cannot tell you how well this knife fits lol....it fit so good not even all the way in lol....now that It's in correctly it really is wonderful. She's just not coming out. Very secure. It's pretty amazing especially considering the price....

yep - I say that those Azula sheaths are like leather kydex the fit and wet mold is so good, and the low profile is great as well.
 
Love the ASH2. One of my all-time favorites! If I was forced to sell all but a few of my knives I'm pretty sure the ASH2 would be one of my keepers.

I hear Ya! I had an extra as well and parted with it.
It was just like yours pictured, except it's Tequila handles were red and black. She was a stunner!
Sooooo wish I had held on to her.
Btw, yours is the best looking ASH2 imo. Love those Tequila handles man.

I almost pulled the trigger on this one too Shark! What a great looking blade you scored there my friend! Staring at the photos of this particular blade was what really sold me on the work from REK I think. :)

Just a FYI those aren't Tequila- they're Junglestorm
Tequila=Red/Brown/Black
Sandstorm=Brown/Tan/Black
Junglestorm=Green/Brown/Tan/Black
And as far as I know there isn't an official name for the Tan/Red/Black
 
Yea those are the one I was talking about that don't have an official name as far as I know, those are Tan/Red/Black - "Tan" is really more like a white color (like the tan/black G10 is more like white/black to most people's eyes)

lol there are even variations within some of them, there different versions of Tequila depending on how dark the Red is, and theres been tan/burgundy/black (I've got an elmax warden with them - basically just like your ASH2 but with much darker "red")- I also noticed the Custom Shop Elmax Warden from the last ganza had Brown/Green/Black G10 which I've never seen on any other Busse.

Didn't mean to go off on that just thought I'd throw that info out there.
