I believe it to be Hand smoothed micarta?

That looks like it might be G10. Wash it and see if it lightens up, if not I think it's G10.

Stunning with the sterile blade and smoothed micarta with pins. Not to mention nice thick stock (.31”?) and the rounded edges…

I’m not sure of the thickness but it’s thick!!’ Don’t they all have rounded edges?

I still don’t know about the scales, they appear to have fabric marks, if you zoom in on the slabs in the picture you’ll see what I’m saying.
My TGULB has G10 and it doesn’t have those fabric marks.

IMHO that has to be G10. Cant think of another material that might look like that.

Can black paper look like that, I’ve never owned a knife with black paper.

I'm all but certain that is G-10, you can see the little tiny craters of the glass layer there.
