ASHBM The new baby got here today!!!!!! Pics as promised.

Congrates! That blade and handle combo is sweeeeeeet! I have a black canvas and black blade have used it so much almost all the coating is off the blade!! Can't beat a ASHBM!
 
That is one beautiful blade! Makes me sorry I didn't order one before they sold out. I love the red/black G10!:thumbup:
 
Okay....does it make me a bad knife person that I kind of want to preserve this one and not beat the heck out of it? If it does I'll have at it but man she sure is pretty all shiny and new. :rolleyes:
 
Not at all,,, it took a few weeks of fondling,, ooh-ing,, aahh-ing,,, then I thought "The whole reason I found Busse was because I was searching for the toughest knives on the planet, not the prettiest"(luckily I think they're both).
That being said, plenty of us have both users and safe queens. You bought it,, do what you want with it!!

That is precisely why I can rarely purchase only one of any given model. And presicely why I live...

This is why I usually buy 2 of them. :o :p

But then I found it better to follow Skunker's model of "a pair, and a spare!" :D :D

Doesn't make you a bad guy, just makes you a collector. I guess I'd have to consider myself a collector too, but I use all my knives.

If you use it, it'll just make you bond more with it. If all you ever do is ooh and ahh at it, you'll either wind up selling it, or keeping it for your kids to sell for 10 bucks at a yard sale after you kick it...

We only go around once, might as well enjoy what you paid for. That's my outlook. Plus, that finish you got looks dead sexy beat up a bit. :D

Preserve it then and pick up a user when you can....Nothing wrong with that. I do that sometimes
