Just got back from local PO. They would not let me ship to Germany. Asked if I could put "camp tool" and they said I couldn't, and even if i did it could get checked in customs and confiscated and I would not get any insurance $ back:grumpy:

I am very sorry about this! I tried the best I could

Seems that your local post offices know the German weapons act better than German authorities. Within the past few days I got two knives from the US, one fixed blade and one folder.
Both were declared as knives, both were shipped by USPS, both went through German customs, both were inspected there, I paid my taxes and fees and now they are both mine. The same for all those knives I have imported over many, many years. None of them got lost, none of them got confiscated.
But as I already mailed you: I understand and surrender. Hopefully I'll find another Cultellus.

Just going by what the USPS told me. I know nothing about German laws so thats all I had to go by.
