Ashokan 2007

I did a handle, guards, and final construction lecture several years back, since I normally reserve myself for the "filler" lectures perhaps this could be one of them.

That would be great... I'd like some help on fit and finish!
If you need a little more "filler" I do a pretty mean combat cordwrap.

My only question is , who's going to videotape all this and how can I get a copy? I won't be able to be there, but it sounds like stuff I need to learn, and would really enjoy watching.

That's a good question. Do they do any recording of the seminar portions?

I am SO ready for this. I have missed Ashoken the last two years too and really MISS it. Looking forward to it. Count me there.

Thank you for NOT letting me be the first to point this one out, Karl!;)

Mr. Cashen, I suggest you consider adding Rick Barrett to Mr. Foster's clay coating demo, as I've never seen a 'moonshine clay coat' done quite like him!

Also, please check your email -- or at least respond to it, you bum!:D

I have been working with Tim Z. some more on the schedule here is what we have so far:

The "TBA" slot promises to be very good if it works out but that very well known person needs to be certain of his schedule first.

One of my daughters and I plan on being there. We first heard of Ashokan while taking a basic bladesmithing class at the New England School of Metalwork in Auburn ME this past spring. :)
