WHEW WHAT A TIME!! Glad to have finally met alotta you guys in person, thanks for the fun, jokes, demos, IMMENSE amounts of knowledge, and thanks Mace and Aldo for the really great 1084;). WOOO!!!!:) i look forward highly to next year! If you have never been it is definately worth the trip.

It was indeed a great time. The speakers and demonstrators were top notch and the time spent just being able to sit and chat with so many excellent makers was priceless. Food was pretty good too ;) I'll be back next year for sure.

It was a great experience! Still recovering from the rocks they call mattresses (next year there will be a foam pad in my bundle). I learned more than I can even process. But I've got a whole year to digest it for another heaping pile of knowledge to load me down again. Great meeting you, Sam / Deker / Mace / Aldo / Mike / Matt / etc. / etc. / etc.!!!!

Great weekend! Nice to meet all you guys. To bad it's so short...but if it was any longer I think I might have split my side laughing!:D
I saw a lot of cameras there....where are ALL the pictures?

Yes it was a whole lot of fun. As previously mentioned, it's very easy to get the BIG information overload.

If it were any longer I'd be a zombie from lack of sleep, as it was there were a couple of were-sheep running around after moon rise

Indeed!

I look forward to returning to Ashokan all year, and I talk about it all year too!

Learned a lot this year. A lot about making knives, and a bit about myself too. Aldo has me re-examining everything. Whoever thought a bum from Jerzy (J/K Aldo, you da MAN!) could speak so eloquently! Spending all saturday night up with him and Burt Foster was quite possibly a life altering event!

Sam, I stand, as always in awe of the raw talent evident in your hammer work! I am a better, more skillful smith just from watching you!

Great times, great company, and the seeds of what I hope will become great friendships in years to come!

Ashokan definitely rocked!
Still sleep deprived, No Aldo my arm doesn't hurt yet (I was forging a new billet on Monday night)
Many thanks to Kevin Cashen, Ric Furrer, Don Fogg, and the other presenters, lots of new info!
