Thought I'd start a thread just for videos, since they are really a different category than photos. To embed a youtube video, take the last part of your youtube link and put it between youtube brackets like this
[y0utube]ABxMRpL9NXU[/y0utube] (change the 0's to o's to make it work)

Here's Bill Hoffman bending his knife for his ABS Journeyman test, perhaps the most disturbing part of the whole weekend.

Mace working on his sword for next year

Delbert Ealy trying to hammer stainless on the power hammer. Dozens of passes through the hammer and it ended up about double the size and half the thickness. Correct me if I'm wrong on this. It's a great example on why stainless isn't normally forged.

I figured some people wouldn't remember how to embed the videos. Hopefully they will add a youtube button to vBulletin like they did with images and links. The only problem with 1080p HD videos, they take forever to upload! I would've like to have had his minibike for running around O'Hare airport. That place is HUGE.I ended up getting bumped from my flight last night, but they put me up in a hotel and gave me a $400 travel voucher. Next year's Ashokan trip is now paid for!

Allright...gonna give this a shot.
Here is my video.

Hey Zaph1,

What was so disturbing about the JS blade test? It WAS a nice
knife, but it was made to be destroyed. Sometimes to figure
out what you've done or what you're doing, you have to break
something. I've done this test 3 times, and passed all 3.

I now really know how to work 5160 steel, no guessing, just
knowledge based on experimentation. My edge geometry needs
to be refined, but I know it just needs tweaking, not major
overhaul.

Bill:)
