A few weeks back I saw a neat little kwaiken in the Knives Makers For Sale thread. I PM’d the maker, Ashwinearl and said that I liked his work, but was in the process of moving and couldn’t buy the knife at the time. He offered to hold it for me, but I turned that down so that to not tie up cash before moving.
Ashwinearl contacted me after my move and said he had a mini kwaiken and sent me some pictures. I bought it and now that I have it, I love it. It makes a handy desk knife for opening packages and cutting the apple in my lunch. His work is very clean and I especially like how the blade is relatively short but the handle is long enough to provide a good grip.
Get in touch with the guy, he may be new but he will be one of the greats one day.
