If you get some friends together who want something in it, a run of say 20 blades, give or take, and who are willing to put deposits down to cover overhead, then it would be a lot easier and sooner for small potatoes one man shop David Mary custom to make your request a reality.

But the soonest I will be ready to think about taking orders for something like that is probably going to be December, since I have prior obligations I want to fulfill before I set up a new run (since I just set up the run for the Sparkling Smile variants).

I knew you were going to play that way. When I said "favourite overall design" I meant an all-arounder. A fixed blade you could use for most purposes that require one.

Single knives (and other tools) that try to do too many jobs , usually aren't too good at any one job .

Yes. But as soon as you remove the word "too", you can get this: Knives that try to do many jobs can excel at most of them with the right design. And that's the Prevail, and why I love it.
