Asking some Input from the fathers out there

I agree with Richter. The Kershaw Blackout is very nice. So is the Whirlwind (same knife, no black coating on the blade). I picked up a pile of them when Dick's was closing them out for $19.99. Whenever I run into a buddy carrying a flea market special I ask them, "How would you like a really nice knife for $20?" Gets 'em every time!

I have a Camillus Heat and I do like it. It opens nicely and I like the fold over tab on the linerlock. Makes it easier to close than some others. I don't really like the feel of the scales, though. Kind of feel cheap. The blade sharpens well, but I have to sharpen it MUCH more than my benchmade, and am more careful with it. It doesn't have that really sturdy feel even a cheap benchmade (monochrome) has. Not a bad knife, but I don't wince when I drop it.
