Assisted opener plans

Can anyone tell me where I can get information on assisted opener design, graphics, blade geometry, drawings and the like. I make folders and would like to try assisted openers. Thanks

Knifekits.com has an assisted opener kit on their site for about thirty bucks. Might be a good way to learn.
