Assisted Opener With Safety

Hey all!

I'm looking for an assisted opening knife with a safety, like the Benchmade Barrage or the Sog Trident. The only rules I have is a reliable knife, durable spring system, and a safety. I know many will think the safety isn't needed, but I like having it. Thanks!
 
I have to +1 the Leek. I have one, beat the crap out of it for literally years, and it still stands strong. Relatively inexpensive as well.
 
I have a BM 477-1, a 581 and a 586. All assisted with safeties.
Excellent knives. Can't go wrong with them!
I have never used the safeties though. Are you worried they'll open in pocket?? Carry mine all the time and never had it happen.

There was a kershaw that's been discontinued. Mini mojo? Or mojito? Can't remember which but it was an really nice knife.

Safety is great for an active lifestyle and if you have little kids around and don't trust yourself with keeping it out of reach 100% of the time.

Barrage and it's little brother are great options.

I just got the 586, mini barrage, today and thinking of having Steve make up a matching pair for the little guy.

+1 on the Leek. The CB Leek has been one of my most frequently used knives over the last several years, and it's served me well. And there are countless variations on the Leek too, so you should be able to find something that fits you. I do like how the safety on the Barrage is implemented a bit more. Or, for something a bit different, you can look for one of the old Spec Bumps, which also have a safety lock.

I think I've decided that since I have a Benchmade Mini Barrage and LOVE it, I might get the full size Barrage with black tanto blade...what do you all think??
