Assisted opening flipper with left hand clip?

That's the question: can you recommend an assisted opening knife with a flipper and the option of a left hand clip? Preferably tip-up, and something other than a liner lock (thought that's not critical). A blade length from 3.25 to 4 inches would be my preference.

I really like the Kershaw Scallion but it's right hand only. Anything similar but drilled for a left hand clip?

Thanks for any info.

You can get anything drilled for any clip you want most times. Just talk to STR--he's very reasonable, like $10 last I had my knives done. I'l be sending more for him to do eventually.

the spec bump has a left side clip, and it is not a liner lock......
S30V
~3.75 inches
funky blade shape, but interesting
assisted
very nice handle
if you do not mind 14c28n, then look at a speed bump. they can be had for ~$50

I just got zt0350cb and it has become
My all time favknife and replace my jyd comp as my EEC. I haven't
Switched it to left hand yet but like that I can and
Tip up down. So I can't say as how I feel to the clip being on the other side but I dont mind carrying it lefty now

He means left-handed clip, but the specbump is a terrific knife. That's one I'm going to have STR convert to tip-up.

There's the SOG Twitch XL.

It's assisted opening with a flipper, a lockback design, and the only one of the Twitches with a clip that can be switched to left-hand.

That's not exactly the case with assisted opening knives. You have to plan your drilling and screw placement so it doesn't interfere with the AO mechanism. I mangled a perfectly good Random Task 10 years or so ago because I didn't know where the functional parts were before I started messing with it.

I don't exactly know the workings of a random task, but I'm fairly sure that STR could make you a clip that would still allow the A/O to function fine in a scallion. You would only need to drill and tap through the aluminum.

Then again, I'm thinking tip-up lefty carry, since I like tip-up only.

The Benchmade AO Barrage would be a good choice, although it doesn't have a flipper.

Hey new to the forums, but thought I'd give my input. I'm looking into Kershaw's new lineup for 2011, and the RJI and the RJII caught my eye. they are 3.5 and 2.25 inches, respectively and will feature tri-carry clips for both left and right-handed accessibility. TU/TD for right handed, TU for left.
