Hey guys i am looking for a new knife i really want an assisted knife because they are fun to mess with! I love the size, weight, and quality of the delica 4. I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions for me. I liked the kershaw scallion but i heard it was pretty cheap quality wise. Another knife i was wondering about is the zt 0750 tallon? Does anyone have any experience? The knife can be no longer than 3.5 and is preferably not a tank. The flipper isn't required i just thought it would be handy! Thanks for any imput!

Kershaw Leek Composite Blade Edition
This is a great knife with the composite blade you get a really good steel CPM-D2 and the knife is really good looking. The knife out of the box is razor sharp and the ergos for my hand is pretty. So I really recommend this knife for about 60 dollars its a really really good deal.

Yup, or you can also get G10 and S30V as well.

No need for assisted. Someone already suggested the CRKT Ripple. If you try an IKBS knife and still think you're in need of AO I don't know what to tell you. But talk about fun to mess with, just wonderful. CRKT also makes other non assisted flippers with the IKBS as well.

I recently got the Kershaw Shallot with damascus blade for just within your listed limit from kershawguy, a group member with very positive feedback in the feedback area. 3.5" blade and an incredibly thin knife considering the very close to 1/8" thick blade. Flipper only opening normally though I have installed an accessory clamp-on thumb stud on mine.

I consider the Ken Onion designed and USA made Kershaws to be a best buy generally speaking. If going for the Leek my favorite currently available version is the one with G-10 scales and the S30V blade. The G-10 scales provide a better grip IMO than the steel frame scaleless versions.

no one has said the Kershaw knockout yet? really? its one of the best assisted flippers under $100. All aluminum machined handle with sub-frame lock and an amazing blade shape.

Kershaw Thermite isn't out yet but it would probably be up your alley if you wanna wait it out.

Thanks for all the feedback guys! I really like the blade shape and weight of the scallion Just wish it came in s30v and then i looked at the leek but i cant find it anywhere in stock with s30v

Crkt foresight. Amazing knife about $85-$90. Smoother than alot of KVT knives I've handled. And you can still score a first production version in acuto + steel (I've heard it's like VG-10). Mine came wit a great edge, super sharp an super smooth out of the box. Only thing I don't like is tip down on a flipper knife. The only other large knife I've owned that flips this well is the kershaw tilt. Except this ones much smoother.

Where are you getting ZT350s for under $100? Unless you're talking blems from Kershawguy that is.

As to the original question, like others have said, assisted, flipper, sub-$100 gives you a wide, wide range of nice Kershaw knives to choose from. You have nice budget offerings like the Oso Sweet, Clash, and Burst, you have the mid-range Leek, Scallion, and Shallot designs from Ken Onion, up to the composite bladed Rake, and, if you don't mind a blem, the ZT350 Natedog here suggests.

ZT 0350 in the exchange. I've had one for years and it is one of my all time favorite knives.
