Gotta back the Kershaw dudes. Get a Clash or Cryo for around $30 bucks. You won't feel bad abusing 'em and it's a nice introduction to their China made models. Good quality stuff!
If the flipper isn't required, I would say go with the USA-made Kershaw Blackout. Great knife that you can find for $60 or even less, depending on where you look. All knives I mentioned are assisted.
