Chicken curry was the favorite dish for Amar Singh Thapa and so is my father.

I think there should be a recipe of sorts or at least an ingredients list here... ;)

Just why hasn't mine arrive yet?

When was it ordered ,Jay?
Shipping to Malaysia can take some time. somtimes a couple weeks, i'm not exactly sure as i don't do the shipping. It also could be being held at customs in your country for some reason. If you feel it isnt getting there in a timely manner, Contact Auntie or check with Your customs.

Dear Karda,

Thank you for your concern.
It usually will take a month or so for it to come over. I've talked to Mohd "Nepal Ho" about it and he gave me some pointers on future shipping and clearance on custom.

Mine was shipped on May 1st. It was the picture of Pala holding it and the glare on the blade that made me anxious.

I will post the reviews and pics once i got them on the chop-chop.

Outie.;)

Karda,

Hopefully to get it by this weekend.

I'm leaving the office now. It's 5.24pm at Penang time!
Get some sleep, buddy!

HI ASTK Chicken Curry

INGREDENTS

3 Lb chicken, skinned and cut into bite size
3 tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion, sliced
1 medium tomato, halved and sliced
3 large black cardamom pods
1 tsp cumin seeds powder
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic pulp
1 tsp turmeric for color
1 Wash and trim the chicken pieces, and set to one side.
2 Heat the olive oil in a deep round -bottomed frying pan add all spices and steer and lower the heat add two cups of water and cook for about 30 minutes.
Once the curry is cooked serve with steam rice or whole wheat roti

Enjoy!!!

I'm sort of reminded about Uncle Bill telling about how Yangdu destroyed several cutting boards with a Khukuri used for kitchen work, and thereafter had to do the chicken chopping outside. :)

Destroying cutting boards? Damn, I gotta be careful with my khuks during food prep, or I'll be booted out of the house.:p

I'll have to try out this chicken curry recipe as well. And for anyone who just needs that little extra push on the ASTK, you will not regret it.

OH BOY! Thanks a lot for the recipe Yangdu!
I am gonna need to scale it down a bit for one person but it does sound good. :)
