at last i got the one and only.. para 2

really like it, the blade is smooth to open, g-10 feels great, it fits my hand perfect and the lock can easily be manipulated with one hand to close.

I had the oppertunity to break down 4 large boxes on tuesday when i got it but i resisted and used brute force to dispose of the boxes instead,though i did cut something that bled a bit which was two blood oranges. LOL

I've had mine for a couple months now, it's my edc blade was my first spyderco could use a clean at the moment its nowhere near as smooth as it was to open and close. It is definitely a great blade that you will enjoy I'm sure.

just got mine also. I like it but im having blade play issues. not much, but enough. When i tighten pivot to where theres no blade play i cant open and close it. oh well . maybe it will break in .

Gentry,
Try removing the stop pin bolt, put Loc Tite on it, and retighten.
If you still have blade play, tighten the bolt in tiny increments till the play is gone.
I've had 2 Para 2's that also had minor blade play.
This procedure made my knives perfect.

Enjoy the knife. It is fun to play with. I like my knives less "flicky" (I guess that's just a matter of tightening the pivot) and I wasn't thrilled with the blade to handle ratio. I've never looked at the Military and wished it was smaller. But I'm weird.

i wanted to slice the boxes even more after after it really breazed through the oranges..I need to get an edgepro or wicked edge, before i really use it super hard that way when i can sharpen it with a bit more consistancy
