• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

My new Pocket Kephart, beautiful lacewood. Plus I made it little belt sheath.

Here is the sheath. I rushed and it shows a bit. I got impatient and made silly mistakes. I messed up the stitching holes, they are a bit crooked and less symmetrical than I like. Then when stitching it I somehow didn't use enough thread (no idea how I did that), and ran out so I had to tie off and start with new thread 3/4 of the way through. But all in all it looks ok for how frustrated I was getting.

For you leather guys out there. I use Tandy Carnauba Cream to finish stuff like this. I have been wanting to use something else, like beeswax or ...well anything. I want to try something new. Suggestions?

Nice pictures and sheath. That knife sure is special looking with that size handle and wood. John made you a one of a kind, I haven't seen it's equal. I am sure that may change after you posting it. Thanks C.

That is the only one I have made. Several Mini Kepharts, but only one Pocket Kephart.

John
