I'm just shootin' a guess here....but P7 probably pays a premium that would be hard to beat to get exclusive rights. Having been on the other side....I can see the reasoning. I still would like to see Coop there with a table/setup of his own though! :thumbup:
 
I have VERY good news....

I talked to Steve Shackleford and Mary Lutz. Mary went to work and has now secured me a small lockable seminar room that I may use to setup AT THE SHOW. I will be paying for the priviledge, but that is only fair.

I have not confirmed this with my other full-time job and boss, but I am going to make my plea this afternoon. So, I am mostly sure.

This is a good breakthrough for me. And possibly for P7. Now all of our work is manageable. I am not setup for large scale work, that's for sure.

There were many support calls from all directions helping this along. I appreciate anyone who did their advocacy. :thumbup:

Glad to hear it, Coop- your skills are much appreciated, and there is *way* too much work for just one photographer. I can tell you that in past years, both Weyer and P7 were set up at the show, so there is certainly precedent.
 
... because my conversation with my other boss was great: "Sounds good. Go for it!"

I will be planning quite a bit for this show. Thanks Don, for that bit of news.

I put in a good word for you, but I don't think I have much more pull than a... well, I've got none... but I didn't think it could hurt :D ;)

I'm glad to hear you'll be there... it seems like an awful lot of work for Point7 to take on alone, and it will be nice to be able to meet you and bring some knives to you via hand delivery :thumbup: :cool:

I will finally be bringing you an integral for a photo as well!
 
I doubt my say meant much...but perhaps collectively, the support was greater.
