Mate unfortunately we won't be able to make to Blade this year :(:grumpy::(

We were originally intending to. I was going to bring my guitars and organise to hire some amps and PA gear etc. and have a gig at Jocks & Jills for everyone, but to make the trip over the pond a third time in a row has proven to be just a bit too hard on the wallet. So, unless some financial miracale happens between now and then :) it will be a Blade free year for us :(

We are, however, planning on a 2013 trip. The next trip will definitely involve guitar shreddery and musical self indulgence :)

Hope everything works out for you :) I'll try to see what I can do to like prog rock more by next summer :p
 
After some alcohol and a day of mulling it over, I'm no longer feeling buyer's remorse.

I really, really can't wait to meet you people. And my first Blade. And to go to the Tilted Kilt.

Mostly the Tilted Kilt, though. My wife isn't coming along :D
 
I'm planning to attend for the first time as well - driving all the way down from Canada :eek: Can't wait to meet the Busse crew :thumbup:
 
The extended stay hotel that Busse gets a block at is about 2 miles from the Cobb. It cost about $65 a night.As for transport to and from the Cobb, if you don't want to rent a car there are usually several other Busse fans you can possibly catch a ride with.I haven't decided if I am going this year but if I do you are welcome to ride back and forth with me.
 
try the dunwoody area if you can afford it...close to perimeter mall.

traffic from 6am-9am 3pm -6pm is a nightmare..the downtown connector is terrible (75/85).

stay north at all costs...south side is very high crime (around i-20, etc)...although gwinnett is getting bad too.
