Well after forging a few knives and heat treating 15-20 i have a good grasp on this thing. Im gonna preface this by saying this is my first real forge burner.
So I happened to be one of the few that got to be a tester for his new burner with the gage on it. And i gotta say i really like it. Its the 30k burner btw. With the pressure gage it makes life easier to set parameters when forging or heat treating.
It really is a turn key system, hook up to your tank and adjust the flow until your happy. I see alot of guys trying to fuss with the air flow and other things in their burner. Not an issue with this. I am sure this would be 10x better in a real forge or his atlas mini. But i have a self built (quite badly built) 2 brick forge based off his WIP.
My only real complaint is that you cant adjust the gages position. Its in a fixed position and that can kinda be a pain when trying to dial in your heat.
All in all i think its an excellent product that i would reccomend. Its served me well so far and will continue to after i get a bigger forge. I will probably keep this set up for HT applications.
