The trailer didn't really get me excited. I feel like they're going to wind up missing the point of the book, because honestly I don't think the book was 'entertaining' per se. Lets be real, movies are for entertainment and ticket sales, so I'll be standing by waiting to see what they changed.

It just doesn't look like it will live up to the book. I doubt that they'll be able to get funding for two more parts.

As long as people go see it, they'll make another How close it is to the book or the spirit of the story doesn't have much bearing on that...

I woulden't be surprised if they've already filmed the other movies while they had the actors all together.
