They usually draw a crowd whenever I take mine out. Hell, neighborhood kids line up for the privilige of retrieving them for me. Of course you have to be carefull as some get so excited they start running while the last one is still in the air.
They are simple to use and pretty damn accurate considering they don't have crosshairs. It almost seems that you aim by instinct or some kind of zen thing. I've even got one set up as a harpoon for non gamefish that inhabit the local sloughs and reservoirs.
Give them a try,they are a cheap hobby.
Beware sometimes "earth mother" type gals that don't believe in conventional hygene tend to gravitate towards a man with such a large spear in his arsenal.
