Cerberus,

As I'm sure you already know, the one posted is ATS 34. I can certainly make one from A2 or D2, whatever your preference. In regards to the grind, this Blade has a convex grind, the convex grind goes about 3/4 of the Blade width up from the edge leaving a small land of full thickness near the spine. Just for clarification, could you please define "fully convexed" for me?

Thanks for looking! :D

David, the precision of your grind lines and the fit on the handle are extrordinary. What excellent workmanship for a knife in this price range!

The profile of this blade reminds me of an early American frontier knife that Charles Wallingford makes (CWKNIVES). THe blade here is larger but the basic profile is the same. Charles calls his a skinner.
If I hadn't spent all my cash I'd have this one. Very nice knife!

I just returned from a business trip and found this in the mail. Wow what a stout blade! this will be a great camp knife.
David the leather sheath you made for this knife at my request is nice, I am a happy Camper!
