The Scorpion is designed as an all-around tactical and hunting knife. The handle is angled down at about 8.5 degrees off the center line of the blade to give the knife a more natural extension of one’s hand. It’s made of 3/16 inch thick ATS-34 stainless steel that is hardened to Rc 59 to 60. The handle of this Scorpion is exceptionally figured Cocobolo burl wood scales that are screwed to the knife’s full tang with loveless type bolts and epoxied together and it also features a glass breaker pommel with lanyard hole. The brown tooled leather sheath allow for optional high or low carry on the right or left handed sided and an option to also carry horizontally (scout) style. This is accomplished by resetting the leather loop with the provide Chicago screws.

Specs:
3/16 inch thick ATS-34 Stainless hardened to approximately Rc60

Handle is Cocobolo burl scales with black spacers bolted onto the knife’s full tang.

Blade Length is 5.2 inches from tip to Micarta scale.

Overall Length is slightly longer than 10 inches

Brown tooled leather sheath (shown)

Price is $165 plus $7 shipping

Nice knife Kelly. Been a while since I've seen one from you with some wooden scales! Reminds me of one I got from you at the Vallejo show a couple of years ago!! Gordy

Hello Gordy, thanks for the compliment. The wood may be from the same piece. I had a really nice Cocobolo burl block that I made several knives of over a four or five year period but this is the last of it. I wish I had more Cocobolo burl like this is hard to come by. Kelley

Thanks bravodelta this is the first one I've made in ATS-34 the others have been in 5160 and 1095, its kind of on the fancy side for a tactical but it will work.
