attach brass liners to fixed knife

I like to use brass liners on my fixed knives, in the past I epoxied them to the handle materal, lately this technique has been failing. Is the a prep technique I should be doing to the brass?? or should I be using a specific epoxy?

you would do better to ask this in the shop talk forum. drill lots of holes in it and scuf it up good.
