  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Attach knife sheath to pants without belt?

Some kind of clip and maybe a kydex sheath to fit it on. Those have to be the oddest choice of camping/hiking pants I can remember seeing.

Dave, it is Halloween season after all :D something like Bear Grylls meets Grampa

You can always just wear a belt with the knife on it. A belt doesn't need loops on the pants to "hold it up", the loops are to help the belt hold the pants up! Paracord also has lots of possibilities.

^ What he said.

Your hips should hold the belt just fine, even though it can be awkward to have two lines of tension going along your waist.

I have done it before when I was wearing board shorts, doing a sort of river/ waterfall hike.

Carrying a neck knife is also a great idea.

Just use some para cord. Take your knife and poke several holes around the waist and lace it through. No duct tape, belt or ears required.

I need those pants for when I play full-contact golf!

Seriously though, you can maybe get a pistol belt, one that fits loose and rides around your hips.

Back to unseriousness, Batman wears a belt and his huggies are on the outside.
