Hey Guys, I have recently rebuilt my forge, and shortly after finishing it up, a family friend who is a machinist for the aerospace industry decided to machine me out a second burner, identical to the one I have. My question is, how should I attach this second burner? Should i make an identical hose set up and use two tanks of gas? or could i splice in a T joint into the existing line and increase the pressure. Just wondering how you guys do it. Thanks for your time!

Just split the line and run two hoses to the burners. A "Y" is better than a "T". Pressure will probably be the same, as you are measuring the pressure, not the volume.

does this help?

Not always, but i am starting to do more forge welds, and at least when im welding up wrought iron i like that extra heat. For normal forging of knives and other items i plan on only using one burner.

And i always thought the motto of bladeforums was "more fire = more better"
