I think "Knots for vets" isn't very catchy, maybe something like "paracord patriot" or some such. The market is pretty saturated and anyone can go on youtube and learn how to make their own stuff. Maybe if you could find a distributor and become a retailer for just straight paracord you'd do better along with buckles and beads and all that to go with the cord. That takes some start up capital though, not something you can jump into too easy.
When I make a basic cobra weave the area between my first and second knuckle and sometimes I have to wrap them with sports tape to keep from getting to chewed up.
I can't recommend enough that you don't put the word paracord in the name of your company. It is very common in the names of people/companies who do this kind of thing, that's why the name I came up with did not include that word.

Etc...etc...etc...I still like my nameI know someone thought it wasn't very catchy, but using alliteration, like in Paracord Patriot, is a bit overdone and while I understand the intention to sound 'catchy' it can backfire on you and make you drown out with everyone else who has a 'catchy' name. I work very closely with the Promotional Director of my company and it is one of my side responsibilities to help come up with ideas and names for new promotions.
Before you settle on a name, spend an hour or so googling companies like yours. Then pick a name that doesn't sound too much like the rest of them. My .02
Combat Cord- since the bracelets won't neccesarily be your only business.
You motto could be "because freedom is knot free".
Definitely make some black and white ones for the people who want to show that they support the WWP, and get a bunch of funky colors for the fashion wearers. Things like pink, blue, red and green seem popular. Good luck!
All the names with "Warrior" in them sound good to me.![]()

Well since it's a paracord company I think it would make sense to use paracord or 550 cord in the name as it lets people know right then and there what the company is and also if someone goes searching for "paracord" they're likely to find you.
Yeah, they're likely to find you after 5-6 Google pages of companies that have been around longer than you and already get more traffic and as such show up before you in a web search. It's just over done, makes the company sound generic and not special.
Bastid.More like Midget Paracord, in your case, shorty.

Darn. Freedom Cord? American Cord Company (my favorite, almost started a business with this name)? Freedom Fighters Paracord? However, I just looked up "Combat Cord" and someone is already using it. The motto still stands
Darn. Freedom Cord? American Cord Company (my favorite, almost started a business with this name)? Freedom Fighters Paracord?
Thanks for considering the motto.
For the record, I looked these up, and Freedom Cord seems to be part of the name for an equestrian hair clipper, but American Cord Company seems to be free.
Thanks, but I wouldn't be able to accept a prize if I won. I posted in this thread before I knew there was a giveaway, and I already made more than a lifetime's supply of bracelets for myself as practice and fidget material. Some of the stuff over there is really clever.I love them. Still trying to decide. Check out my other thread called "Paracord Giveaway". I already entered some of your ideas into it. Feel free to add onto that thread with ideas if you think of any more cool ones![]()
here are some tips, your fingers are gonna get so blistered up that it's gonna hurt after awhile... what I did it I would wrap athletes tape "white roll" on all 10 of my fingers, that helps so much and your fingers are saved. mini blow tourch is 100x's better than a bic or a zippo for finishing your cut ends, 2 leather jumbo needles is almost a must for some of those tricky knots... I hope this helps.
