The KITH knives have all arrived but two.
I have not been able to contact those makers - Brook Alongi or Bryce Braden. If either of you are reading the forums, please give me a call or email.

In their defense, both makers had serious problems right before Christmas, and let me know about the delays. I just have not been able to get in touch with them since Christmas.

I'm beginning to get concerned about these two knives.

Bryce's (Fog2) was supposed to be mailed on Dec. 19th, but I have had no contact with him since he email me that it was being mailed .

Brook (bjalongi) had his pipes break and had some flooding. He said he would be mailing the knife the week after Christmas. No response from him since then either.

I told Andy Roy (fiddleback) that I would personally make him a knife if his did not arrive by Jan 15, but he declined the offer.

Brook was making his knife for Shawn Tardif ( Shawn fu). If his knife does not arrive soon, I will contact Shawn and offer him the same thing.

If anyone has any contact with these makers, please have them get in touch with me.

I don't have his # or address but Bryce lives about 10 miles or so from me so I'll see what I can do to get ahold of him. I think my buddy Dave may have his #

FWIW- I used to see him on the forums here and there but not for quite awhile now.

I have his number. I have called three times and left a message. He has not returned my calls or emails.

I sent a letter today to both makers. I'll wait and see what response I get.

Stacy, if you need a second knife, I have a couple laying around and I will ship one out. I missed the exchange this year, but, I want to keep it a good thing. You should not have to do it all. Jim

Both recipients have declined, and said they will wait it out and see what happens. I believe the knives will show up in time,too.

If things don't pan out, I'll let you know.

Guys,

I'd like to chime in here to say that the Kith went off successfully, and that I am happy to have my knife being used by one of you. Please don't consider the KITH anything but a success because of this. Life is hard sometimes, and I'm sure FOG2 is handling it as well as he can. So, no hard feelings from me.
 
I heard from Bryce today.
He had bad luck in shipping and was returned an empty box by the post office. He contacted Andy and is making a second knife.

Just an update:
As the last post stated, Bryce will be making a new knife for Andy. I'll check on the progress in a couple weeks.

I spoke to Brook today. He has been having a lot of issues, but lets hope things start looking up.
He has finished the knife and will be sending it out ASAP.
