I bought this BRAND NEW from Glendo corporation, one of the leaders in engraving equipment.
This is a COMPLETE BRAND NEW set, everything you could possibly imagine to get started in engraving. Engraving machine w/ footpetal operator speed/tempo control ($795.00), #901 handpiece ($250.00), 20lb high quality rotating vise ($300.00), 2X optical visor w/ additional 2x (making it then 4x) attachment/flip covers ($60), #10 various/different engraving bits for corners ($60 +), sharp angles, square shapes, circles, etc. & 6 collet attachments for the handpiece.
I came into a big wad of cash a few months ago, have always wanted to start engraving.........& make a long story short, I'm so picky/anal retentive & certainly a really BAD DRAWER, that I just had to put the thing to the side.
Total machine running time was about 15 hours, this machine is made to last a lifetime. I bought this equipment brand new, straight from the manufacturer GRS Handtools. Being the BAD BOY quitter that I naturally am (Pun Intended) I decided I could run production/blades a WHOLE lot faster by simply stamping/marking through a die vs. engraving. There's nothing wrong with this machine, this equipment is very high quality, very expensive, I'm willing to take the financial hit, through my folly & offer it to members on BladeForums.
This is a COMPLETE set, everything you need to get yourself set up as a master engraver. The only thing missing is an oil-less air compressor, I used my regular oil less Porter Cable air compressor w/ PSI turned down to 50psi & everything worked fine. You will need an oil-less air compressor, then you're good to go.
Sadly, for me, I got over $1,400.00 into this equipment..........I priced it all out & had been thinking about it for months before I bought it. Perhaps there is someone else on this forum, that would like to get into engraving & just thought it cost a bit too much.
Make me an offer, please do not insult me. This equipment is Like New w/ all original packaging/boxes/pamphlets/instruction manuals, etc. The people at GRS handtools will also answer any questions you have over the phone. They're very helpful, I just have to move on to other ventures in BAD BOY's life.
Make me an offer, please note the original $1,400.00 price tag, I'm thinking something, somewhere in the neighborhood of a grand. 1K, whoever submits the most reasonable offer in a timely period will be off & running towards engraving not only just knives, but guns, metal objects, etc.......Engravers make ALOT of money per hour, might be something worth checking out-for someone else. Just wasn't for me & my current production schedule.
Thanks guys, BladeForum members are unique & the very best!
PM me if you get the notion.
