Attention Jerry Busse, Please

Just to give you something positive, the FSH's have been shipping and people have been receiving them. Many pictures of newly arived knives have been posted by their owners.

Since your CC was never charged (according to your posts) it doesn't appear that you have been held by a business based monetary investment, but instead you have made a personal conscious decision to wait for your knife. You've posted many times over the last six months about being unhappy, but you must not be THAT unhappy or inconvenienced as you're still holding strong to your order :)

I was literally just charged for my HOFSHLE, which is what I expected since they don't charge until knives are almost ready to ship. A lack of immediate charge to your card is not a bad sign.

My advice? Hang in there and wait for the FSH :D so far there has been nothing but extremely positive feedback posted from everyone who has received them :) They also ordered theirs the same time as everyone else...last year.
 
I ordered my HOFSH on 10/23/04, the first day they showed up on the Busse site. I knew it was going to be awhile before they were going to ship because the knife was so popular in the past, that there would be alot of them ordered. It looks like it will arrive soon and I'm sure the wait will have been worth it, just like all of the others.

Thanks for the positive words. :)
In prior postings it was more a matter of trying to find somebody who could tell me how the Busse system works (12-16 weeks after the order, 12-16 weeks after the run started, 12-16 weeks after the run ended, 12-16 weeks after Armageddon, etc.?) than being unhappy. :confused:
I don't know how strong I'm holding onto the order, but I do still want the knife. Just won't want it indefinitely if it doesn't show up. :grumpy:

I think the blade/handle combo will also play a big part of when you will get your blade,, I got mine a little over a month ago, I ordered the standard Black blade with Black paper scales.

believe me,,,the knife is awsome and is really worth the wait :eek:

did you order a standard model ? or did you order a HO?, or Limited edition ?

I remember seeing a few post of some of us getting our blades already, but they were basically the standards. I dont remember seeing and post of anyone getting their HO or their Limited Edition yet.

but just hang in there,,,it'll come. :D

just think though,,the wait for these Busse knives are pretty low compared to some of the other makers,, take Randall Made knives for instance,,,they have a 48 month backlog.. :eek:
 
It was just a regular model in tan & tan.
That's the main reason I don't own a Randall. Good designs, good steel, good workmanship, but not worth a four-year wait to me.

Emailed you once last year at the email address Eric gave me, no response.
Didn't notice anything about your office being closed on Friday when I was looking for a phone number. It's hell getting old, you start to miss the Closed On Fridays signs that everybody else picks up on right away.

yep,,

those Randall's are great knives and craftsmanship is really top notch,,

but i would choose INFI over O1 and 440c anytime.
