Attitude about face!

The funny thing is, side by side, the number 15 does not have a radically longer cutting edge than the peanut. But the longer flatter shape rides very well in the pocket. What would be nice, if I can't have a second pen blade on the other side, then a Victorinox style combo tool on the other end would be good. Kind of like the radio knife.

That issue of "flatness" you mention is one of the most important things I look for. The 76 jack has it to a large degree but the 68 owl is the king. I've never had a knife that rides in the pocket like it does. Both of them are just about perfect for me. Which is why I've morphed back into a looker instead of a buyer lately.

Looking at the edge it looks like the GEC has a thinner grind than the peanut. The 76 has a very thin grind as well. You like the metal on this one so far Carl?

Eventually GEC will have another run of 68 owls or 76 jacks and I'll end up getting another... to put away in the box. Just in case you understand. :)
