ATTN CT-ers; carpooling?

hey CT-ers, with a few woods get-togethers coming up in the spring, what say you we organize some sort of car pooling affair?

there is PWYP in april in North Carolina, as well as the trip in march in NC that joezilla just posted up about...anyone wanna get together for the ~14 hour drive down one or both of those weekends?

there is also PEACE in may up in cheataguay, NY. anyone up for pooling up to there?

it seems like we have several guys in CT now-a-days...why not take advantage?
 
I wish I could make all of those, but I doubt that will happen.

I have been priming the wife for Peace for awhile, so that looks good.

As we get closer, I'll let you know. Car pooling sounds like the best bet.
 
I have a hard time making long range/long distance kinds of plans (small child at home), but I'd be up for more local, impromtu kinds of things.
 
Same here. Looking forward to putting some faces with names!
PEACE might be a possibility for me.
 
I'd be up for a local get together once the weather breaks. If that ever happens! Its been a LONG winter. I may have a couple of places in mind we could meet also.---KV
 
Nortwest CT, Sounds great! We will definately have to get something going this spring and summer.

My wife and daughter will be away at the end of June through the 2nd week of July, so i would love to get some overnighters in around then. But I am always up for a day of woods bumming as well.
 
When is PEACE? Id like to fly out for it, if possible to get a ride from someone thats goin....

Yes. It will be CRAZY!! :cool: Im just hopin I can ship the wife to a spa so I can hit up some of the best mountain biking on the planet. She is down, and the way I look at it, its a win-win for me. :D;)

If my financial issues look better...Peace looks good..I might bring my Brother and family! I think I will use a tent to Simon;)

I also doubt I can make all the events but I can make some.

Well I hope I'm on your list of friends to visit..we dont have much, but I will buy the beer and you can check out the collection of sharp things...LOTs of sharp things. Aug. is a good time for a cookout or campout...lots of ticks though..I much prefer the winter for camping..no bugs:D Gene
