ATTN: Fake XM-18s on eBay.

"itchblapblap" has been selling replica XM-18s without stating that they are replicas. Before Jan. 21, he was stating that they were replicas in the description. He no longer does this, just uses the abbreviation "rep", and such things can easily be overlooked.

I'm just hoping to stop someone before they get all excited and end up with a fake. He's sold something like 20 in the last two months, and apparently the word "replica" became too much of a drag to his sales. Shady shady.

I reported this auction right after he posted it. I encourage others to do the same to help stop or at least limit the number of counterfeit listings.

I doubt anyone would think that they're getting the real thing for 100 bucks. Plus the lockbar is very poorly finished. You can see that despite the bad pictures.

We've seen this junk before. Every so often someone pops up selling that carp on ebay, either fake Strider, Hinderer, Reeve, and others.
