16 then 14/24 (cant tell any real difference yet in blade retention yet although the D2 must keep an edge longer) then 2, 9, got a 5 under the x-mass tree so that will be in there somewhere.

I really need to try the 24

To me it feels like a high end 14. Stays sharp forever. I put it away wet all the time and it hasn't shown any rust yet.....uh, yea I'm talking about the knife btw :D

For me, it's the BK15 and the BK4. These are my 2 main blades when I'm in the woods.

I started with a BK2 and a BK9. These are both great knives, but for me the BK4 is almost a hybrid of them; it weighs the same as the BK2 and has nearly the same chopping ability (possibly slightly better once you master the recurve techniques) as The King. I still have my BK2 and my BK9, but they don't go out nearly as much as they used to.

I also tried both a BK11 and a BK14, but they were really too small for my hand. And if I'm gonna use a blade that small, I'd rather just use a folder for easier carry.

So my 3 main knives are my Spyderco Tenacious folder, the BK15, and the BK4. The folder is my EDC and gets used most often. I use the 15 for food prep and for carving and bushcraft. The 4 is used for bushcraft and wood processing, it's the perfect woodsman's blade.

Grey,

You are so intentional about getting people involved, especially the new folks around here. Mad props to you. You are like the daddy of up-and-coming Beckerheads. To stay on-topic, my BK-17 has been treating me well. Have to learn to put a better edge on that though. Do you have much luck with sharpening?

Becker BK-7, with the BK-11 as a backup. Both of mine are Camillus-made, but Kabar makes them just as nice & tough, if not better. (The bottom knife is a Kabar Remora.)

I'll have to go with 14 & 16 but I just got a 15 so it might displace the 16 but I doubt it.
