Hi there, long time lurker, first time poster here from Brooklyn!
Having been casually reading Bladeforums for a while, I noticed that members sometimes send their blades to other members, of whom possess quality sharpening skills. I was looking to get in on this, however being in NYC, as you guys know, can be a bit "challenging" when it comes to shipping blades.
So I was curious...are there any NYC members who sharpen that would be able to deal with me locally? I'm willing to compensate well for your services.
Btw I use a Sharpmaker on my blades and can get a decent edge, however those results are far from what I'd like, ideally.
