However, he did beat the hell out of some awesome knives. Too bad he treated the forum the same way.

Shoot, I remember when they were going for 5 to 6 clams. I wish I had grabbed one them.


If UJ keeps posting, he should get some different infi to post pictures of. Most of his are very very easy to recognize. I knew that was UJ's photo the second I saw it.

it should be made clear i bear no affiliation with the comments of uncle_jarvis or any supposed alias, confirmed or otherwise.

we are very much two separate persons, and there are people on this forum who can personally attest to that.

randucci, it is unfortunate you feel that way, but i payed 1100 usd no more than 2 years ago for a mint nick set; the nicks i bought from you were in terrible shape: VERY incorrectly sharpened, badly stained, and scratched to hell. if you don't like my current price, or the way our original deal transpired to the point you wish to not do business with me anymore, i would imagine you could at least extend me the common courtesy of sending me something in private, rather than making assumptions and pointing fingers in an extremely unprofessional manner within a public section of this forum. WELCOME TO OUR CAPITALIST ECONOMY.

I paid $500-something for a SET 2 years ago on another board. :eek:

Then I got grief when I sold the thick one for $400-something. GRIEF!

I should have just held out for more on it. Started it at $650 or something. They were going for that a month later. d'oh!

I did send you a email yesterday afternoon through Bladeforums, which unfortunenatly doesn't give you a copy for me to paste here, but it said something like this:
I wished I had sold them to someone who really wanted them as users and not someone who just wanted to make a profit. I see you also tried to sell the sheaths separate for $50.
When I saw this thread, I figured you were just trying to give me $hit and rub in you got a good buy, why else would have this post come up in the same day a month later? I described the knives in my for sale ad as:
"both are used, but in excellent condition and have kydex sheaths, both knives have been lightly sharpened on both sides of blade."
It is funny you state above:

"i'm terribly sorry for not contacting you when i received them! i did in fact get them, and they were in MUCH better condition than you had described. though, they are already en-route to busse for full refurbish on both.

If the knives were in such "terrible condition" you should have sent them back!
 
No doubt, I'll get the blame from Jarvis for turning him in to the mods in this thread. :p

Truth be told, I've never reported one of his posts, but there are now plenty of BFC mods with his signature on their radar.

Sad to see him using BFC as a place to take a dump once in a while to feed his ego.


Edit: Look for some sale threads in the Exchange soon. Jarvis may be trying to hype the NICKs and the Satin Jacks so he can get what he paid out of them. :p

Or maybe he's just trying to gain more valuable knowledge of the banning process so that he can eventually become a moderator here.

Also, the OP in this thread, has his location as Tenpenny Tower, which is from Fallout 3 (sickest game ever). Seems this is a trend in UJ's, extra names here.
 
I want to make something very clear.

MY PARTY, MY RULES! . . . . That means, if you don't like something or someone on this board, then man-up and take it outside. . . and that means, take it to a private email or PM. Not to another forum but rather "man to man" in private, and keep it out of my party and off of these forums! If you don't have the nuggets to take it "man to man" then it must not be very important!
