ATTN: Wolverine Knife Show - Novi, MI

The Wolverine Knife Collectors Club will be having it’s Annual show at the Novi Expo Center, Novi, Michigan. It will be in hall "A" this year. The dates and times are as follows:

Friday Jan 25: 12-8pm
Saturday Jan 26: 9am-6pm (Sat night auction, time ??)
Sunday Jan 27: 9am-2pm

Admission is usally around $5 and free for WKCC members. Parking is around $5 as well, but you can park across the street (across from Big Boy & Bob Evans) at the mall for free, and walk across the street. Hey, that much more money to spend on knives. ;)

The Antique Arms Show is also in the hall next door for those of you who may be interested. I believe you can get a discount on your admission for that show if you've already purchased a ticket for the knife show.

If anybody is interested we can get a group together for breakfast or dinner/drinks one of the days (Sat maybe the best day). Post here if your going to the show. If there is enough people I can see about getting resevations at one of the local resturants if need be.

Any other questions let me know, I'll try to answer.

Count me in. I live about 5 miles from the Expo Center.
Sat sounds good. I will also go on Fri.

North I 75 to
North I 275 to
West I 96 to
Novi rd exit (12 Oaks Mall)
Left on Novi Rd (south) just over the freeway on your right at Big Boys.

I'm going to be there. Wouldn't miss it for anything. The last couple of years have been great! I'm thinking of going on Friday... want to see all the knives before they are sold! :D

I'll be there all three days. Enjoyed the show last year, talked shop with Normark (he'll be there too), and had fun with the Michigan whitewater (they call it snow). see y'all there.
 
Hi folks, Looking forward very much to seeing friends again at the Wolverine show. Pat & Frank and the other folks who put the show together are great people to have fun with. This will be my 4th and as long as they have it I will be there. I'll be set-up next to George Young (Mr. Stellite) as usual. See you there....Brian

Brian, that is a long trip. Clearwater is a nice part of the country. I have a friend who has a cabin out there.

Is it worth a 3 hour drive? Just kidding...

I'd like to go, but I'm not too sure yet.
 
Is it worth it? Well, I guess that's up to you.

Is 250+ tables of nothing but knives....custom, production and supplies worth it? Along with a whole hall of knife knutts who understand your true addiction and are willing to talk about it until you can stand no more.

Some people that's just not their bag, I understand. But, for you I think you'd dig it.

I'll be there...just look for a black TAD jacket and a green baseball cap with a grey lambda on the front and "molon labe" on the back...maybe there today, definitely tomorrow.....

I'm in! I will have a faded green canvas shoulder bag with a red thunderbird on it. Reddish hair and beard. Navy blue vest. Hope to see you guys there on Saturday.

The WKCC show is awesome! More tables, people and knives than I can ever remember in one place at one time!

Got a chance to meet and re-meet some great folks from the forums... Andrew Pincheon, Mike Sastre, and Eric from OnScene Tactical just to name a few. Always a pleasure to meet such nice folks.

Anyway, if you haven't already been to the show, get going! Times a'wasting and the knives are selling fast.
