Well I was at the show on Saturday. Although it wasn't bad, I don't think there were as many quality knives as there were last year. Another thing that really bugged me was that I was really looking forward to seeing a tachyon, a sandshark, and an ultratech. None of them were there. Evidently someone mentioned something about switchblades and the Novi knife show to the State attorney general and he called the Novi police chief and told him to keep them out of the show. I heard that the guy that had all the microtechs there last year left as soon as he heard about it. This is just what I heard from some people at the show. But maybe they will be back next year. My favorite custom makers of the show were Jeff Diotte (sp?) and his sheath maker from Ontario Canada, he had some really nice small fixed blades with colorfull G-10 handles that were really comfortable. I also got to talk to the proprietor of River City Sheaths who was also a really nice guy and interesting to chat with.
